There is a slight difference in the texture of the product. Seachem's is more salty? If that makes sense.. and this product was more fluffy. I got a scooper \/ spoon that is larger than Seachem's but I always weigh my fish's medicine with a jewelery scale (.001g) to be as accurate as possible. My only complaint and reason for 4-stars is, the price. If this is a generic, why are we paying more than Seachem's? This product is 10g for $25ish while Seachem is 5-grams for $10. While that is true, the amount is actually the same: the scoop for Aqion Kanamycin Sulfate is twice the volume of the scoop for Kanaplex. I tested this using water. So the amount of powder per 10 gallons is the same. But still, for whatever reason, Aqion Kanamycin Sulfate is just better and more effective.
